DJ FAQ's
What type of music does your DJ's play?
Open format. It's more about your event and what the guests are vibing with and we can take requests.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use high quality EV sound mostly and programmable lighting with Soundswitch
How much space does a DJ need?
About 6ft x 10ft of space for the DJ booth and additional room for speakers and lighting.
Will your DJ's take requests?
Our DJ's are pretty easy going and happy to take requests. We can create a must play and do not play list prior to the event.
Do you include lighting for events?
Yes, basic dance floor lighting is included with optional upgrades from uplights to full production.
Do you charge extra for set up and tear down?
There are no hidden costs. Setup and teardown are part of our job. We're also happy to arrive early.
Photo Booth FAQ's
Are props included in my Photo Booth rental?
Yes, digital and real props are available for every event. We just don't do hats unless specifically requested.
Does the Photo Booth come with an attendant?
The Digital Photo Booth does not include an attendant, all others do.
Is a backdrop included with my photo booth?
You can choose from 30+ of our designs for every event. AI and Custom backdrops are also available.
Do you use DSLR or iPad?
Both. Some activations require one or other.
What types of Photo Booth's can I book?
Glambot Video, Digital, Printing, Roaming, 360 Video Booth, and AI Photo Booth activations are all available.
Is the printing Photo Booth unlimited printing?
Yes, all of our printing options come with unlimited prints for each guests. The host will get a digital copy after the event.
AV Production FAQ's
What rentals do you provide?
Audio, Video, Lighitng, LED Video Walls, Staging, and draping are all available to rent
Can the LED video wall go outside?
Our walls are IP65 outdoor rated and have a pitch of 3.9mm for high resolution
What services are available to book with A/V?
Video and Sound technician services are available. Mystica provides the setup with A/V rentals.
What do I need to get started?
Venue, event date, number of attendees. Event goals and inspirations are recommended.
What size LED Video Wall do you have?
Custom sizing is avialable for visualisations. Up to 5M wide x 3M tall is our largest 16:9 ratio.
Do you provide leasing?
Yes, you can lease any equipment for your venue space. We also have sales.
General FAQ's
Do you have insurance and licensing?
Yes. Mystica carries 2 million liability insurance and we have a City of Edmonton business license
Do you do site visits?
A site visit is recommended for venues Mystica has never been too. And we're always happy to visit known venues.
Do you travel?
Travel is available for Alberta. Travel and accommodations fees will apply.
Do you offer demos?
Absolutely. You can come down to our office to see a demo of any of our rentals and services.
When should I book my event?
The sooner the better. In some cases we only take 1 or 2 events per day so our calendar fills up quick.
Do you post signage at events?
Unless we are personally sponsoring an event, we will not bring out branded signage. Some photo booth's have descriptive signage.
